This unique hardware business has served Landrum and the surrounding communities since 1905.

Initially, the business was started by the Thompson family who owned and operated the business known then as Thompson's Hardware in downtown Landrum.

The business remained in the Thompson family for 91 years. During this time, it moved to its second downtown location (216 E Rutherford) in 1933.

Evans Family

Current owners, Shawn and Susan Evans, are only the 3rd family to own/operate the business, starting in 2013. In 2018 the Evans’ moved the business to a new 15000 square foot facility located near I26.

Today, Landrum Hardware is located at 1712 Hwy 14 E and continues to retain the atmosphere and service of yesteryear while offering the quality products of today.

Landrum Hardware is a full service hardware store with experienced, knowledgeable people. Electrical, plumbing, hardware, tools, lawn/garden, housewares and farm supplies are just the broad categories stocking the shelves.
